Democrats can’t stop pushing George Floyd’s death as ’emblematic’: Douglas Murray

A recent tweet from Barack Obama marking the second anniversary of George Floyd’s death following the mass shooting in Texas is “seriously tone-deaf,” according to author Douglas Murray.

“In the wake of the atrocity in Texas, you don’t need to add anything else, you really don’t,” Mr Murray told Sky News host Rita Panahi.

“The issue, really with this is … the fact that the Democrats and others just cannot stop pushing this narrative about the George Floyd case as if there was something about it that was emblematic – first of policing in the US, and secondly, of the US as a whole.”
